adnexo supports Rapperswil-Jona with its Smart City development


Together with CRA Mess-, Regel- + Antriebstechnik AG and adnexo GmbH, the municipality of Rapperswil-Jona is implementing Smart City projects to improve economic sustainability. The projects include various sensor applications such as temperature, humidity and CO2 sensors in the Bollwies school building, level measurements in its salt silos and municipal streams, determining the irrigation quality of trees and vehicle tracking in work service. These projects aim to use resources more efficiently and improve quality of life. Future plans include the expansion of sensor applications to other buildings and locations as well as the integration of GPS tracking and fuel consumption measurements in municipal vehicles. The Smart City Initiative strives for transparent data collection and data use to sustainably promote urban development and ensure quality of life for the population.
